Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are tasks that we normally do to get ready in the morning, evening or throughout the day and involve many personal care aspects such as taking a shower, getting dressed, skin care, hair care, oral care and ambulating.

When your loved one has difficulty performing these tasks on their own due to age, physical limitations or a medical condition, our trained Care Professionals are there to assist. We understand it is important for your loved one to maintain their dignity and privacy within their own home, while performing these intimate functions.

Our Personal Care Services include: 

• Ambulation and transfer assistance 

• Personal hygiene assistance 

• Bathroom assistance and incontinence care 

• Medication reminders 

• Diet monitoring and meal preparation 

• Charting daily occurrences and care notes 

• Light housekeeping 

Taking care of a loved one can also be stressful and a time-consuming responsibility and can take a tremendous toll on your physical and emotional state when your loved one is suffering from an ailment. A family caregiver also needs time to take care of life aspects outside of the family home. Respite Care service covers you as the primary caregiver to allow intervals of rest, relief and needed personal time. It also gives you a needed break from your caregiving responsibilities.

Our Care Professionals can stay with your loved one while you have time to keep your life running and can help with companion care and/or personal care aspects, freeing up your time to do other much-needed things such as… 

• Running errands 

• Seeing your physician and dentist 

• Going to support groups or the gym 

• Seeing other family members and participating in family events 

• Allowing you time to rest, rejuvenate and relieve stress

Consumer Directed Services empower individuals to take control of their own care by managing their services and supports. Through CDS, eligible participants can hire, train, and supervise their own personal care attendants (PCAs), providing greater flexibility, choice, and control over their daily care needs. This model is designed to enhance independence and ensure that services are tailored to the individual's preferences and needs.

Participants in CDS can work with a Fiscal/Employer Agent (F/EA) to manage payroll, taxes, and other administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with Medicaid requirements while focusing on the care and support they need.
