Helping Hands Facilitators, LLC. has been providing high-quality home care services to clients in the greater Tidewater, Hampton Roads, and Norfolk metropolitan area since 2016. Our team of well-trained facilitators are readily available to attend to all of your requests.

EDCD WAIVER

The EDCD Waiver provides services that help individuals live in their own home or community instead of an assisted living facility.  It is available to individuals 65 years of age and older, and to individuals who have a disability.  Individuals who depend on another person for their support and have medical or nursing needs may be eligible.

OUR DUTIES

Helping Hands Facilitators will provide the consumer with the following: 

  • Comprehensive visit and subsequent visits to ensure proper care

  • Assistance with the process of hiring an attendant

  • Development of a Plan of Care (POC) and an emergency back-up plan for services needed

  • Assistance with all required forms and documentation before, during, and after the hiring process

At Helping Hands Facilitators, LLC., we believe that people are the best judges of what assistance they may need and how that assistance should be delivered. Our Consumer Directed Services (CDS) program allows individuals to direct his or her own personal assistance services at ZERO COSTS to the consumer.

Helping Hands Facilitators, LLC is making the best effort to protect, educate, and provide the highest quality of care in each patient's home during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The safety and well-being of our patients and our people is always our top priority. We encourage you and your loved ones to take the following precautions:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick (important enough to repeat).

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
